Role
Logan Cooley centers the line with Dylan Guenther and Anders Lee and runs the power play with Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz. He has 6 points in 7 games, all of them assists, and no goals on 5 shots. He averages 18:31 a night, the most of the seven forwards we cover and a few seconds more than Schmaltz.
Outlook
Cooley was the No. 3 pick in 2022 and had 44 points in 2023-24, then 65 in 2024-25. Last season he had 24 goals and 43 points in 54 games, so he scored at a similar clip over fewer games. Utah signed him to an eight-year extension in October 2025 at a $10 million cap hit through 2034, per The Hockey News.
Our take: that contract only looks right if he plays most of the schedule. We think he will, and we project 75 points if he stays healthy.
